Smoothies:

What is there not to love about smoothies. They are easy to make, you can create awesome flavours with them and most importantly you can even have them on the go!

Whether it's a breakfast smoothie in a bowl with your favourite fruits or a quick protein smoothie to take to work, our recipes below have got you covered!

Mixed Berries with Pink Pitaya

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp of our Cerise Pink Pitaya Freeze Dried Powder
  • 1 cup of your favourite berries which can be strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or a mix of them. Frozen works best
  • Optional: 2 tbsp of your favourite seeds. We recommend either hemp seeds, chia seeds or flax seeds, feel free to experiment! 
  • Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder of your choice
  • ½-1 cup of almond or oat milk
  • Half a cup of your favourite yoghurt This can be flavoured or plain. We recommend coconut yoghurt for its creamy flavour
  • Half a cup of Ice

Steps:

  1. Grab your favourite blender
  2. Start by placing all the liquids inside the blender first such as the milk and yoghurt.
  3. Next, place the cup of berries, teaspoon of Pink Pitaya powder, scoop of protein powder and the seeds inside the blender.
  4. Lastly, place the ice cubes in the blender.
  5. Close the blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  6. Pour smoothie into a tall glass or a shaker and enjoy your smoothie!

Taste: If you like your berries you will love this smoothie! 

Best time to enjoy: For smoothies we recommend best at the start of your day as breakfast or even after a workout.

  

Blue Banana:

 

Ingredients:

  • One teaspoon of our Electric Blue Butterfly Pea Powder
  • One whole banana cut up into slices.
  • Two table spoons of your favourite seeds. We recommend either hemp seeds, chia seeds or flax seeds however feel free to experiment. This is of course optional.
  • One scoop of protein powder of your choice. This is of course optional.
  • One half to two thirds of a full cup of non-dairy milk. We recommend non-dairy such as almost or coconut milk as it keeps the smoothie light in flavour.
  • Half a cup of ice.

Additional Ingredients: Fresh Mixed Berries / Fresh Fruit / Coconut Flakes / Chia Seeds

  3. Next, place the solids into the blender that include the bananas, seeds, protein powder and teaspoon of Butterfly Pea powder into the blender.
  4. Lastly, place the ice cubes in the blender.
  5. Close the blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until a smooth consistency.
  6. Pour smoothie into a glass and enjoy your antioxidant and nutrition filled Butterfly Pea smoothie to kickstart your day.
  7. If you would like to enjoy it in a bowl, pour your smoothie into a bowl, add in some mixed fruit and coconut flakes to finish.

Spirulina Superstarter:

 
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon of our Rainforest Spirulina Powder
  • One whole Kiwi
  • One half of an apple 
  • One half of a pear
  • A handful of Spinach
  • One stalk of celery
  • Quarter of a small pineapple
  • Juice of half a lemon 
  • Juice of half a lime 
  • Half a cup of water
  • Half a cup of ice.

    *Not every single ingredient on this list is mandatory for this drink however the more you have the greater the benefits and taste!

    Steps:

    1. Grab your favourite blender
    2. Start by placing all the liquids inside the blender first such as the water and juices of the lemon and limes.
    3. Next, place the solids into the blender that include the fruits and vegetables.
    4. Lastly, place the ice cubes in the blender as well as the Green Spirulina Powder.
    5. Close the blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until a smooth consistency.
    6. Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy your antioxidant and nutrition filled Spirulina smoothie to kickstart your day.

    • One cup of fresh mangoes or frozen mangoes.
    • Half a cup of your favourite yoghurt. This can be flavoured or plain. We recommend coconut yoghurt for its creamy flavour.
    • One scoop of protein powder of your choice. This is of course optional.
    • One half to two thirds of a full cup of non-dairy milk. We recommend non-dairy such as almond or coconut milk as it keeps the smoothie light in flavour.
    • Half a cup of Ice

       Passion Yellow


      Ingredients:

      • 1 teaspoon of our Tropicana Passionfruit Freeze Dried Powder
      • Half a cup of fresh mangoes or frozen mangoes.
      • Half a cup of pineapple cut into bit size cubes.
      • Half of a banana cut up into small pieces
      • One scoop of protein powder of your choice. This is of course optional.
      • Half a cup of water
      • Half a cup of Ice

      2. Start by placing all the liquids inside the blender first such as the water.
      3. Next, place the cut up mangoes, pineapple, banana, and passionfruit powder inside the blender.
      4. Lastly, place the ice cubes in the blender.

      6. Pour smoothie into a glass and enjoy your smoothie. Feel free to add in extra bits of banana / pineapple / mango should you wish.
